Land of the free?
Readers will doubtless be aware that Cindy Sheehan was arrested last night at the US State of the Union Speech for wearing a shirt that served as a reminder of the effects of the war policies of the barbarian in the White House. Read her angry response in a letter she has written.
I cannot help thinking that her removal suggests that the words from the Chimp about freedom should be treated as the nauseating hypocrisy they are.
Thank God for people like Cindy Sheehan who dare to face down those who deal in death and the crushing of freedom.

Let us then pray for our enemies, that their hearts may soften and that they learn compassion and wisdom. Remember that George Bush is not the enemy. Fear (i.e. lovelessness) is the enemy. Forgiveness is the healing of our minds by letting go of all loveless thoughts.
