HARRY POTTER
On Saturday, my family went to see Harry Potter. It was a good film and I only had one spell of falling asleep which by my standards is pretty good.
Unlike the rest of my family I haven't read the books so I didn't know what to expect. Still, it was fast moving and with a few good twists. The essential message seemed to me to a moral one which some of the Christian critics (whose predecessors often criticised now accepted works by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkein) fail to appreciate.
Anyhow, watching the trailers (of the power of advertising) has us all in the mood to see another film before Christmas. I fancy 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.' James, on the other hand, is pressing for 'King Kong.'
Any ideas which I should choose? Or is there an alternative that beats them both?
